5 Key Categories to Address in Life - Part 1
As I reflect back on 2008 and look forward to 2009, I’ve been thinking about key categories to address in life. I’ve thought of 5 key categories. It’s kind of like a football team. If you have your offense, defense, and special teams all functioning at a high level, you will win the game. If you have two of three, you can still win, but it might not be quite as easy.
Here are my five categories.
- Your salvation / church
- Your marriage / dating
- Your children / extended family
- Your finances/ career
- Your health
If you address all five of these categories in your life……would you be happy? What about 4 out of 5? Are there any that you could do without? Are there any key categories missing?
During my brief life so far, I’ve experienced ups and downs in each. More on that later.

Personally, I don’t see how you can avoid any of them. I like how you have God/church listed first. As without Him we can’t accomplish anything. Am looking forward to reading more. Thanks for stopping by my blog. Hope you will stop back in.
